What’s Inside the Pure Bliss Crib Mattress

This mattress is handmade in California using only the finest, most natural materials. In fact, this crib mattress only has 3 ingredients: 100% Natural Latex, Organic Cotton & PureGrow Wool.

1. 100% Pure Natural Latex

This mattress starts with a core of 100% Pure Natural Latex. Our latex is naturally derived from the Hevea brasiliensis (rubber tree). And when we say 100% Pure & Natural, we really mean it! There is NO synthetic latex or other synthetic fillers used. So you can take advantage of all the benefits of latex, without any of the cancer-causing chemicals and harmful VOCs found in synthetic latex.

The crib mattress is then machine quilted with Organic Cotton & PureGrow Wool.

2. Organic Cotton

We make the organic cotton extraordinary soft & breathable by twice-washing it in gentle, non-toxic soap to remove any starch.

3. PureGrow Wool

The PureGrow Wool we use is sheared from live, healthy sheep and gently processed without chemicals. Wool is the perfect bedding material for its ability to wick off moisture, regulate temperature, and reduce mildew. It’s also naturally flame resistant. That means this mattress naturally meets the fire safety standards we’re required to have by law without any harmful flame retardant chemicals.

What makes the Pure Bliss Crib Mattress “Non Toxic”

Like all of our mattresses, the Pure Bliss Crib Mattress is made from start to finish to be a truly non-toxic mattress. While we could call this an “organic crib mattress” or “natural crib mattress”, we think “non-toxic crib mattress” is the best description because of the special care we put into keeping harmful chemicals out of the mattress – something that many so-called “organic crib mattresses” do not do.

Every SleepLily mattress is made fresh to order, by hand, in California.

This means you don’t have to worry about getting a mattress that’s been sitting in a warehouse for months on end, like you do with some of the other mattresses. You’ll be getting a top-quality mattress that is perfectly pure and untainted.

Because we make each mattress to order, please allow 1-3 weeks for the production of your mattress, plus 5-10 days for shipping from California. We ship the crib mattress via UPS, and will provide tracking confirmation when your mattress is on its way!

Caring for your Pure Bliss Crib Mattress

Care Instructions:

• Turn over your crib mattress at least once every six months
• If needed, air-out your mattress in the sun, and spot clean with a white vinegar and water solution, allowing it to dry completely
• It’s recommended that you use the Wool Puddle Pad to add additional, natural protection from liquid. While the PureGrow Wool in the mattress itself actively wicks away moisture, we have not added any artificial water-proofers, as these contain many of the very chemicals you want to avoid!
